Classes
Movement (Ages 2 - 3)
This is a class for our youngest dancers. A fun dance class that incorporates creative movement and props to develop gross motor skills. Parents may participate or sit in the room with dancers. (45 min)
Little Feet (Age 3)
This is our creative movement/pre-ballet class. Dancers participate on their own. They learn dance steps and skills through song & dance and dancing with props.
Mini Combo (Age 4)
This is our pre-ballet class. Dancers learn more dance steps and concepts and incorporate these into creative dance activities and choreography. This class also includes 10-15 minutes of Tap. (1 hour)
Kids Combo (Age 5)
This is a combination class. The dancers explore ballet, tap, and jazz dancing. A fun, upbeat class that suits the attention span of dancers this age. (1 hour)
Ballet/Tap Combo (Ages 6 - 8)
This class is for dancers ages 6 to 8 with little or no dance training. It allows them to learn two styles of dance in one dance class. (1 hour)
Ballet/Jazz Combo (Ages 6 - 8)
Same as our Ballet/Tap combo class, but for Ballet and Jazz. (1 hour)
Ballet (Ages 6 and up)
Our Ballet classes are taught in Vagonova technique for dancers. Ballet teaches great posture, grace and discipline. (1 hour)
Tap (Ages 6 and up)
Dancers will explore the rhythms of tap, from the traditional time steps, Paddle & Rolls, and Shim Shams to the hard hitting rhythm tap sounds that have put tap back on the map recently. (1 hour)
Jazz (Ages 6 and up)
Our jazz classes are taught in the traditional style of jazz dance. Dancers will learn stretches to increase flexibility and many different jazz steps, turns and combinations incorporated into choreography. A fun class set to current, upbeat and age appropriate music. (1 hour)
Lyrical (Ages 8 and up)
This is a slower style of jazz dance that incorporates a more interpretive style of dance. (1 hour)
Funky Jazz/Hip Hop (Ages 8 and up; Boys ages 5 and up)
This high energy, high impact class offers a great workout and it lots of fun. Dancers learn the moves they love from street dancing, hip hop & music videos with age appropriate dance steps. (45 min - 1 hour)
Tumbling (Ages 2 - 6)
This is a gymnastics class offered for kids. They learn forward and backward rolls, cartwheels, and use the low bar. It also develops muscular strength and gross motor skills. (45 min - 1 hour)
