June 2003 - Thank you, thank you, thank you!
I would like to thank everyone for a wonderful year of dance classes and for a wonderful recital! You all did such a fabulous job! I was so proud of everyone. Each year you all impress me more with your performances. Your dance skills have improved so much and so have your showmanship! You should be VERY PROUD of yourselves! And parents... Thank you so much for all your help, love & support.
Now that the recital is behind us... time to plan for our Fall classes. Wow, our 12th season is upon us! It is amazing how quickly the years go by...
Anyway, we have lots of great new things in store for the fall. First, some changes...
Due to a copyright issue, we need to change the name of our Kinderdance program. Unfortunately this is a copyrighted name (which I was not aware of) and we may no longer use it. Our Movement & Little Feet classes will keep their names. Movement is our class for 2-3 year olds, with parents in the class with them. Little Feet is our class for 3 - 4 year olds on their own. Each of these classes are 45 minutes long and involve creative dance / pre-ballet, using songs, stories and dancing with props. Our new 4 year olds class is called Mini-Combo (formerly Kinderdance 1). This class combines pre-ballet, creative movement and tap dancing in a fun filled one hour class. Our new 5 year old class is called Kids-Combo (formerly Kinderdance 2). This class includes beginning Ballet, Tap and Jazz.
We will try to continue to expand our Boys classes. We currently have a Boys Tap, Boys Hip Hop (ages 5-7), Boys Hip Hop (ages 8-11), and are adding a Boys Teen Hip Hop class (ages 12 & up).
We are also adding new levels for our Dance Team (formerly Teen Rep. Workshop). There will be a Team for Grades 3-4, Grades 5-7, and 8-12. Please call for more information if you are interested. These Dance Teams will meet once a week, aside from their regular dance classes and learn dances for competitions and community events.
